Fund website regulatory requirements
Money market fund requirements (Rule 2a-7)
Five items posted prominently, on top of the mutual fund requirements. The six-month rolling series are the hardest part to mirror.
Applies to money market funds
Money market funds must post these items under Rule 2a-7(h)(10), on top of MF-01 to MF-06 (they are exempt from the Q1/Q3 holdings in MF-07). The failover origin needs the full six-month history for the daily series, not just today's value. Field lists and posting windows are from ADI 2025-15.
Holdings and daily data
Monthly schedule of investments as of the last business day (or later calendar day) of the prior month: fund and per-class WAM and WAL, plus for each security the issuer name, investment category, CUSIP (if any), principal amount, maturity date used for WAM, maturity date used for WAL, coupon or yield, and value.
Daily and weekly liquid assets (as a percentage of total assets) and net inflows or outflows, for each business day of the past 6 months, as a schedule, chart or graph.
Market-based NAV per share for each business day of the past 6 months, as a schedule, chart or graph.
Link to the SEC page holding the fund's most recent 12 months of public Form N-MFP filings. SEC staff found several funds missing this link.
Event-driven postings
When the fund files Form N-CR for a Part C event (financial support from an affiliate or sponsor): post the same Part C information plus the SEC-prescribed statement pointing to the N-CR on EDGAR.
Whether liquidity fee or liquidity threshold events (added to Form N-CR by the 2023 reforms) call for any website posting beyond MMF-05, and whether the fund's prospectus promises one.
The 2023 reforms removed redemption gates, raised minimum daily and weekly liquid assets to 25% and 50%, and added liquidity fees and new N-CR events, per the SEC adopting release. The website list itself was unchanged as of the January 2025 ADI.
